In this brand new video upload, we sing "Now Sleeps the Crimson Petal" by Paul Mealor, a Welsh composer.
This contemporary piece is haunting, etherial and mysterious. A glorious composition that uses the full range of all our voices.
A non-profit organization, the Stairwell Carollers chorus raises funds for local charities through concert, CD and cookbook sales.

Are you singing this piece at your spring concert? or another similar piece?
ReplyDeleteWe won't be singing this one, but we are doing some very beautiful contemporary pieces at our spring concerts for 2017. One of them is "Sleep" by Eric Whitacre - very exciting!
