This is amazing. That was in 2007. Are you still as good? I have tears in my eyes listening to Christe Redemptor.
ReplyDeleteI just had a few wonderful minutes listening to Christe Redemptor from your 2007th concert. I still have tears in my eyes Are you still as good? in 2011? I notice the faces change from one song to the other as the years pass.
ReplyDeleteOne of your fans.
Funny you should ask. Pete says we are better than ever (not to hurt anyone's feelings who have been in the choir over the past 34 years). All he means is that we have some great new people and he finds that everyone is more and more interested in fine-tuning the sound. We all have a great rappor with one another.
ReplyDeleteOver the years, we have had over 130 people pass through the group. There are still a few of us originals left - Pete, of course, me, Denyse and Diane. Many of the singers from 2007 are also still with us -- David, Nicole, Kelly, Susan, Keith, Andrea, John, Bill and Rene.
See my posts about our new members and listen toi our podcasts of rehearsals.
Thanks for linking this up to my Pinning & Singing Party Holly. It's great to hear that you all sound better than ever! I think that is a very good thing!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes,
Natasha.
