The 40th anniversary concert was the grand finale of a weekend workshop event with Gabriel Lewis-O'Connor ( Chanticleer alumnus, professional singer and choral conductor). Three Glebe Collegiate choirs joined Stairwell in preliminary workshops hosted by Gabriel at the Galilee Centre.

Gabe is a doctoral student in choral conducting at the University of Missouri-Kansas City He received his master’s degree from the same institution, studying with Dr. Robert Bode.
