Pierre Massie's music again featured on Ottawa's Peace Tower Carillon

View from the observation deck of the Ottawa river and Québec, looking past the Parliamentary library.
For the second time, our Dominion Carillonneur, Andrea McCrady,  honoured Pete with a carillon program entirely his!

It was an easy elevator ride up the Peace Tower on Parliament Hill, Ottawa, Canada for this very special Carillon Concert.
Thanks Andrea! So proud of Pete :)

Andrea (in Xmas gear) poses with carillon group Kristina, Michèle, Terry, Pierre and René
An excited group of Stairwellers joined us to watch Andrea play the carillon in the tiny performance room.

Hard to believe that instrument controls one of the largest carillons in Canada!
Andrea again played Pierre's Stairwell Carol so beautifully! It's my personal fave!
Here is a video I made of a past carillon performance by Andrea.
Dr. McCrady is thrilled that she has found a composer "in her own backyard" whose compositions and arrangements seem so fitting to the requirements of the Carillon.
Andrea McCrady, the diminutive musician who plays one of the biggest musical instruments in Canada!
Check out this great article by the Toronto star about Andrea and her "high-level" (pun intended) job.
David Rain, tenor, braved the cold to listen to the carillon outside.
After we exited Parliament, we were thrilled to meet up with another Stairweller, David Rain, who came to listen to the carillon recital al fresco.

A great day!

NB: it was fun dodging snow blowers that day as I listened to your pieces on the carillon outside on Parliament Hill . :)
