Come hear the first Stairwell Carollers concert of the 2015 Spring Season this Sunday, April 19, at 3:00 pm at the National Gallery of Canada.

We have a purely Sacred lineup of songs for you from the Medieval era through the Renaissance period to Contemporary, including original works by our director, Pierre Massie.

As part of their concert series, entrance to the performance is free with the purchase of a regular Gallery admission.

April is in My Mistress’ Face - a Renaissance madrigal by Thomas Morley

Ottawa choir, The Stairwell Carollers, perform "April is in My Mistress’ Face" by Thomas Morley (1557 – 1602), an English composer, theorist, singer and organist of the Renaissance.

The Stairwell Carollers, an a cappella group, formed in 1977 by director Pierre Massie, has earned the distinction of being ranked amongst the best of Ontario choirs in both the 2010 and 2013 Ontario Music Festival Association competition.

A non-profit organization, we raise funds for local charities through concert, CD and cookbook sales.

All our CDs are available on our website in both CD form and as MP3 downloads.

Ottawa choir, The Stairwell Carollers, perform "Alleluja" by Henry Purcell (1659-1695) an English composer of the Renaissance.

This version of "Exultate justi in Domino" is available on our Sacred Songs from the Renaissance CD, "Cantate Domino", released October 2012.

This version of "Come Again" is available on our madrigals from the Renaissance CD, "Audite nova”, released October 2006.
