For fans of early music! Hands-on singing for choir

 Baby profile with soft focus
Heavenly baby

Choir performs in public using a very cool form of music notation that predates written notation! Called Guidonian notation, it is printed on the hand, and the director and singers point to the notes as they sing.

The Stairwell Carollers YouTube Channel -- worth a visit!

If you haven't visited The Stairwell Carollers YouTube Channel, what are you waiting for?

If you love our music, we have over 100 concert videos there now to enjoy at your leisure. With over 340,000 views and 299 subscribers, the channel is the number one stop for fans of our music.

All were Audio recorded LIVE here in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada by Tom Barnes. The videos were recorded by various videographers, all given credit on the specific videos.

Our director and my hubby, Pierre Massie, edited the sound and video together using Final Cut Pro -- focusing on the best possible sound quality. As different video cameras have been used over the years, the video quality varies, but the sound quality is consistently great and guaranteed authentic.

I have to say this, since we have had the odd YouTube fan question whether we were lip-syncing or worse - not even singing our own music. When combining the sound with the video, Tom did not record  the MC's speaking so their voices were only recorded by the video camera. Hence the difference in sound quality if the video includes some words from the MC.

If you have any questions on how to set up your own YouTube channel or suggestions on how we can improve ours please don't hesitate to comment!
